A renowned business leader of the country, Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury is successfully running a business conglomerate with diverse interests in ship breaking and recycling, tea plantation and production, RMG industries, real estate, agency business and engineering services, container freight station (CFS) and inland container depot (ICD), commercial banking, insurance and securities.

At present he is holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eastern Bank Limited. He completed his graduation from the University of Chattogram and is associated with many local and international organizations including life member of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI), member of Bhatiary Golf & Country Club Limited, Chattogram Press Club, Chattogram Maa o Shisu General Hospital, Chattogram Club Limited, Chattogram Seniors’ Club Limited and Bangladesh Ship Breakers & Recyclers Association (BSBRA).

He is involved in many social activities and widely acclaimed for his philanthropic contributions.

Mufakkharul Islam Khasru, a vibrant leader who holds the position of Managing Director of Finlay Properties Limited since 2010. He previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Sanmar Properties Ltd. He is also on the board of Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) & EBL Asset Management Ltd. He is a Member of - Bhatiary Golf & Country Club, Chattogram Boat Club, Diabetic Association of Bangladesh and Chattogram Club Ltd. Mr. Khasru is also an inevitable member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Eastern Bank Limited.

Wisdom reflects through his devotion towards book, traveling and exploring mindset, which has made him a global citizen. A man who lives on his legacy not only by his family’s tradition. Mr. Khasru received an undergraduate degree from Government Commerce College Chattogram and MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Dhaka.

A.Q.I. Chowdhury, OBE is one of the leading corporate leaders in Bangladesh. He has been holding the chair of Royal Capital Limited for more than two decades. Mr. Chowdhury began his professional career with a renowned multinational British Company named James Finlay in 1969 and later in 1993 as he had been serving as a CEO for 14 years.

The prestigious award "Order of the British Empire (OBE)" had been awarded by her Majesty the Queen of England for his outstanding contributions in the field of Trade and Commerce as a high profile Business Executive. Moreover, Mr. Chowdhury held several positions in different capacities during his service tenure which includes, Vice President-Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited, Chairman of Eastern Bank Limited, Managing Director of Consolidated Tea and Plantation Limited (CTPL), The Consolidated Tea & Lands Co. (Bangladesh) Limited, Baraoora (Sylhet) Tea Company Limited, JF (Bangladesh) Limited and so on. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the CEO Water Mandate of UN Global Compact 2010-2011.

Born in an aristocratic family in Chattogram, Mr. Chowdhury is revered for his welfare and community services, business ethics and integrity.
